CAVE lab
The CAVE is a £1.6 million state-of-the-art virtual environment that allows users to walk into a computer-generated world. It is part of the School of Systems Engineering's Visualization and Interactive Technology Centre. The CAVE enables users to experience, see and interact with large built environments, visualize complex data sets, or provide immersive training in a controlled, safe setting. |
3D-MoVE
The mobile version of the immersive virtual environment was developed in 2013 as an affordable and flexible alternative to meet the demands for remote collaboration and ability to remotely review content by connecting the two immersive environments. |
Visualization Lab
The space used for teaching and research gathers a broad range of technologies used for advanced information modeling, analyses, collaboration, data capture, laser scanning, 3D printing, augmented and virtual reality. |
